Mina: The Mabit and Throw Jumroh

One of the historic place for Muslims in the city of Mecca is Mina. Mina is a desert valley located about 5 kilometers from the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Mina was visited by pilgrims on 8 Dzulhijah or the day before the Standing at Arafat. Pilgrims stay here day and night so that they can perform Dzuhur prayer, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajr. Then, after dawn prayers on 9 Dzulhijah, pilgrims go to Arafat. Such deeds performed during Prophet Muhammad's sunna and legal pilgrimage. Means the date prior to the 9 Dzulhijah Arafat, was not obliged to spend the night in Mina.

Pilgrims come to Mina after conducting Standing at Arafat. Pilgrims to Mina again because the pilgrims would throw jumroh. At Mina the pilgrims must perform Mabit (overnight), on 10,11,12 Dzulhijah for pilgrims who perform or Nafar Start 10,11,12,13 dzulhijah date for pilgrims who perform Nafar Tsani. If you do not spend the night in Mina, must pay dam (fines).

Place or location is jumroh throw in Mina, which is Jumrah Aqabah, Jumrah Wusta and Jumrah Ula. Mina is also the place or location slaughtering sacrificial animals. A mosque in Mina Khaif, the Prophet Muhammad's mosque where prayers and sermons while in Mina during the pilgrimage perform.
