Arafat
Padang Arafah is so called because, according to the opinion of some scholars, the Prophet Adam 'Arafa (reunited) with Eve after they descended from heaven. Arafat lies in the southeast of the Grand Mosque 22 km and is considered outside the Land of the Haram area.

Wuquf pilgrims should (be) at Arafat on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah, because if not then the Hajj is not valid. The Messenger of Allaah Allaah be upon him said,

"Hajj is (wuquf) in Arafat."

When in place on the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah person should multiply prayers, dhikr, and reading the Qur `an. The Messenger of Allaah Allaah be upon him said,

"The best prayer is a prayer on the Day of Arafat."

The prayer is offered depending on the needs of each person with the condition does not conflict with the Shari'a, such as wishing bad for others, or praying that things were unlawful.
